The small, attractive Hotel Montecitorio offers comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price in the very centre of Rome. Housed within an elegant 18th-century building, the hotel was comprehensively renovated and refurbished in 2005 and is just a short stroll from the Spanish Steps and Rome's prestigious Via del Corso with its upmarket shops and restaurants.

With just 14 rooms, guests can expect excellent service from friendly, attentive staff and each room is equipped with en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, minibar, safety deposit box, personal computer with internet access and a fantastic 46" plasma television with satellite channels. The entire property is comfortably air-conditioned and there's a quiet, restful reading lounge where guests can retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The reception is manned 24 hours a day and multilingual staff are always on hand to offer city maps and tourist information as well as laundry/dry-cleaning and room service. Hotel staff can also organise bicycle hire as well as a private car with driver to collect guests directly from the airport if required. All major credit cards accepted.
