The Hotel Napoleon is on the seafront at Cattolica, on Emilia-Romagna's Adriatic coast. The Hotel Napoleon owes its name to one of the first visitors to this superb stretch of beach - Lucien Bonaparte, brother of Napoleon, who preferred the peaceful Cattolica to the rather brasher Rimini up the coast. Many visitors would say that little has changed, and this area does offer a quiet retreat from the bars, clubs and discos of Rimini and Riccione, while still being within easy reach of them.
