Hotel Palau is an elegant, medium-sized hotel on the outskirts of the lively port of Palau. A lazy five-minute walk will take you down to the beach where pale, powdery sands reach down to turquoise-blue sea. Here, you are right on the edge of the stunning La Maddalena archipelago, where jewel-like islands sit in turquoise waters. Not far away is the charming island of Caprera where Garibaldi spent the final years of his life.

There are 95 comfortable, tastefully furnished rooms, all with en-suite bathroom, cable/satellite TV, direct-dial telephone and fax machine, minibar and tea/coffee-making facilities. Cots are available for families with young children and there is a babysitting service.
