This hotel in Umbria was opened in the 1970s, was recently renovated and in June 2007 was taken over by the Cozzi Lepri family, who have a history of managing hotels in the area. The hotel is right in the town centre of Citta delle Pieve, which is home to many interesting buildings and churches and was the birthplace of the artist Pietro Vanucci, also known as Perugino. As well as being famous for Perugino's work the town is now renowned for being the setting for the famous Italian TV series Carabinieri. Etruscan tombs have also been found locally.
