The Hotel Posta occupies one of the most picturesque corners of Lake Como. The Vanini-Taroni family, proud of their reputation for hospitality and good service, have run this establishment for 70 years. It's the ideal base for cyclists, hikers, business visitors, family groups, or those wanting to take in the shopping and sights of Milan, some 30km to the south. This is a superb location, a rural delight and yet within easy reach of the main highways and the airports at Milan Malpensa and Bergamo Al Serio - and it has something for everyone.

The hotel has just 17 rooms, all with bathroom (most with shower rather than bathtub), phone, remote-control satellite television and safe. All rooms are air conditioned, with soundproofed windows (which can be opened). Your room has a hairdryer, bathrobe and wireless internet access. The hotel has parking (and a covered garage 50 metres away). There is a conference room seating up to 20, and a reading room. There are rooms for families (three triple, four quadruple). All public areas are air conditioned, and the restaurant seats up to 80, with vegetarian and diabetic menus available.

The hotel has a bar and room service.

The beach is 50 metres away, boat rental and rides 100 metres. Within a few kilometres you'll find an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, water skiing and diving, horse riding, ice skating, casino, a choice of golf courses and some superb countryside.
