Sicily's three-star Hotel Posta is handily located right in the historical centre of Palermo, in front of the famous Museo Archeologico Regionale, one of the main museums on the island. It's also right next to all the other main sights, including the Massimo Theatre, the Norman Palace (Palazzo dei Normanni) and the stunning cathedral, with its well-preserved mosaics. The hotel, in an early 20th-century building, was once the home of a baroness, and is known as the 'Artists' hotel', as its guests have included several theatre companies since 1921, including many famous Italian actors.
