Hotel Posta is beautifully restored medieval building whose history dates back more than eight centuries. With a prime position in the centre of Reggio Emilia, overlooking the town's famous Prampolini Square, the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo (in which the hotel is housed) was originally home to Sigismondo d'Este, and has been a hotel since 1515. There is masses to do in the surrounding area, with golf, tennis, swimming and walking; the hotel staff can supply information about visits to local balsamic vinegar producers and Parmesan cheese and ham producers and farms. The neighbouring towns of Parma, Modena, Bologna and Cremona all have a wealth of cultural attractions, including beautiful churches, fabulous art galleries and wonderful opera.

With 38 palatial rooms, all with lofty ceilings and luxurious decor and furnishings, guests can be assured of the very highest standards of comfort.
