This country-house hotel in Venice is peacefully located on the Lido di Venezia (Venice Lido), just ten kilometres from the city's Marco Polo international airport and around 15 minutes from St Mark's Square. An imposing Palladian-style villa built in the 16th century, the Hotel Quattro Fontane has a fascinating and aristocratic history and has now been converted into comfortable four-star accommodation.

The hotel's interior is handsome and welcoming with wonderful coffered ceilings and shimmering chandeliers, creating a very special atmosphere. There are 60 spacious en-suite rooms, each individually decorated and comfortably air-conditioned or heated depending on the season. All rooms have direct-dial telephone with fax facility, colour television, am/fm radio, a separate seating area with a meeting or dining table, a personal safe and a minibar. Adjoining rooms can be arranged for parties travelling together, and cots/cribs are provided for families with young babies.

The elegant hotel restaurant serves a menu of typical Venetian cuisine for lunch and dinner. During the cooler months, dinner is served by candlelight in a cosy room with a wonderful 16th-century fireplace, while in the summer guests can eat out in the gardens under the shade of the rustling plane trees. A ferry departs for Piazza San Marco (St Mark's Square) from the nearby landing stage every five minutes during the day and every 20 minutes during the evening.
