Hotel Reginella, Positano

This attractive two-star hotel in Positano is housed in a typically Mediterranean-style building conveniently located in the heart of the town. The Hotel Reginella is surrounded by some of the Amalfi Coast's most spectacular scenery, with its characteristic houses perched along the mountainside and clinging to a cliff which plunges dramatically down to the sea. Nearby are the pretty seaside towns of Amalfi and Sorrento and the islands of Capri and Ischia, as well as the amazing Roman remains at Pompeii and Herculaneum: all within easy reach for an excursion or day trip. The beach can easily be reached on foot from the hotel.

There are just ten guest rooms here, with a choice of doubles, triples or quadruple rooms, all with private en-suite bathroom facilities, air conditioning, central heating and colour television. All the rooms have their own private balcony overlooking Positano's "Spiaggia della Sirene" beach and the stunning Amalfi coastline. Furniture is tasteful and elegant and many of the bathrooms are furnished with colourful Vietri tiles.

Hotel Reginella has a pleasant bar serving cold beers and a selection of aperitifs and cocktails. There is also a laundry and ironing service and staff will arrange transfers to and from the airport or railway station. Parking can be found nearby and hotel staff can arrange to have your car collected and delivered to you at the hotel at a small daily charge. There is friendly, efficient 24-hour service on the front desk where guests can also find safety-deposit facilities.
