Each room at the Hotel Relais Villa Savarese has television, air conditioning, en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, lounge, minibar, and some of the rooms have their own terrace. The house was once an elegant private residence and dates from the late 1800s. Now converted into a luxury hotel, this makes a marvellous base for discovering the Sorrentine Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast. The hotel is just 10 minutes away from downtown Sorrento, a perennially popular tourist spot where you will find an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops. The buried cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum is a must to visit, as is the volcano Vesuvius. Or take a boat trip round to the islands of Ischia or Capri. This stretch of the Campania coast is renowned as perhaps the prettiest in the whole of Italy.
