Hotel Residence Favignana is in a central location on this largest of the Egadi Islands. Here you can quickly be at the beach (with beautifully crystal clear blue waters) and you can be in the centre of town. In fact, this Favignana hotel is just 200 metres away from the main piazza on the island.

Accommodation here is apartment style, with two-room apartments sleeping two, three or four guests; and three-room apartments sleeping either five or six. The apartments have bedrooms, with sofa beds in the living areas of the larger flats. All have a bathroom with power shower, a kitchenette, and a terrace. Nearby activities include walking, windsurfing, fishing and biking, with bicycles available to hire. There is delightfully unspoiled territory to discover, a couple of fine beaches and a host of rugged rocky bays. One of the most famous of these is Cala Rossa or 'red bay'. It got its name from the great sea battle fought offshore in 241BC, when 200 Roman ships saw off 400 Phoenician vessels, sinking 120 of them with huge loss of life. Bodies were being washed upon the shores for weeks afterwards, hence the bay's bloody nickname. The hydrofoil runs from Favignana town to Trapani, on mainland Sicily.
