There are the remains of a Roman theatre to be seen, palaeolithic remains in the caves of Balzi Rossi, and the lovely gardens laid out by expatriate Englishman Sir Thomas Hanbury (I Giardini Hanbury). And there is of course the beach, with the warm, azure Mediterranean and the beach just a short stroll away.
