A former Franciscan convent dating back to the 15th century, the 4-star Hotel Rivoli is situated within walking distance of many of Florence's must-see tourist attractions, such as the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizzi Gallery and the Academy of Fine Arts, home to Michelangelo's famous statue of David.

Just a stone's throw from the Santa Maria Novella railway station and not far from the city's Exhibition and Congress Centre, it is also ideally placed for serious shopping in the designer boutiques along the Via Tournabuoni, Borgognissanti and Via della Vigna Nuova.

Retaining many of the building's charming original features, including stone arches and pillars, the hotel has 69 comfortable rooms, many with private balcony or terrace overlooking the internal garden or patio.
