The Hotel Sa Contonera, Arbatax lies on the eastern coast of Sardinia, near the most popular beaches in the area and close to the town of Tortoli. A fairly new hotel, it was built in 2003 using the latest building techniques - refined and elegant, the name Sa Contonera comes from the Sardinian dialect and means 'roadhouse'. The colouring of this Arbatax hotel was inspired by both the local traditions and by a shared nostalgia for the old roadhouses of the area ... which were always painted a dark red.

This 3-star hotel on Sardinia is on the main Viale Arbatax road. The road forks here, leading left to the tourist port of Arbatax, and on the right towards the lovely bay at Porto Frailis. This Sardinia accommodation has been designed to make you feel right at home, with an ambience both refined, cosy and comfortable. White vaulted ceilings, atop splendid beams, surmount the primary colours and warm hues of the walls.

All the rooms here are unique, with their own colour schemes, accented with shades of white and ivory. All rooms are soundproofed, air conditioned and centrally heated. All have direct-dial phone, internet connection, satellite TV, safe, radio, minibar and hairdryer. All have bathroom with shower and WC.
