Sardinia's Hotel Santa Maria is on the east coast, in Santa Maria Navarrese, at the southern tip of the coastal national park (Parco Naturale del Golfo di Orosei e dei Gennargentu), close to the harbour and with beautiful sandy beaches within easy reach.

The area north of here where the national parkland comes down to be met by golden sands and the blue waters of the Mediterranean is particularly lovely. You can head inland to the mountains, with large tracts of Sardinia virtually unpopulated. The island also has a thriving winter sports scene. For the more athletic there is table tennis, diving and other watersports - something for everyone in fact.
