Hotel Sant'Anna, Verbania
Hotel Sant'Anna is idyllically located on the western shore of Lake Maggiore between the little towns of Intra and Pallanze. The Villa Taranto is close at hand, with the ferry stage for trips to the lovely Borromean islands. A wide selection of sporting and outdoor activities are available in the area, with a choice of golf courses and walking and trekking routes nearby, as well as plenty of watersports. Each of the 30 rooms is elegant and comfortable. Furniture is practical and rooms are decorated in a contemporary, restful palette of neutral tones; every room has satellite television with Sky channels and direct-dial telephone, wifi internet connection point and a minibar. Family rooms are extra spacious and have either bunk beds or three additional single beds.
The Ill Centro restaurant offers guests a tempting menu of the best local and Italian cuisine as well as a selection of international dishes, all accompanied by fine wines from the hotel's extensive cellars. Children's menus are available here and high chairs can be provided. This Lake Maggiore hotel also has an attractive bar plus a conference room with seating for up to 60 guests.
