This three-star hotel is in the small fishing village of Feriolo and just a short walk away from Baveno on Lake Maggiore. Hotel Serenella was renovated in 2006 to provide modern and spacious rooms in double or triple sizes. Each room comes with breakfast included, an en-suite bathroom and other amenities such as air conditioning, a safe, television, telephone and hairdryer. There is a restaurant that serves regional and international dishes, with specialities such as risotto and homemade pasta and ravioli. There is also a comfortable lounge bar to relax in with a glass of excellent local wine from the hotel's impressive cellar.

This Feriolo hotel also has a pretty garden and an outdoor play area for children, as well as its own private beach. You can rent boats from nearby, and various sporting facilities - such as a horse-riding centre, golf course and tennis courts - are also close. Feriolo is a pretty town just 4km from the main resort of Stresa, with its restaurants, shops and pretty gardens. From Stresa you can take the boat to the Borromean islands at the centre of Lake Maggiore - well worth a visit. On the Isola Bella you will find the 17th century Palazzo Borromeo, which has beautiful landscaped gardens. San Giovanni, the smallest of the islands, was once home to the conductor Arturo Toscanini.
