This three-star hotel in Florence has an excellent location on one of the city's most elegant streets in the historic centre (centro storico), making it perfect for exploring the downtown area. Hotel Tornabuoni Beacci stands on Via de' Tornabuoni, alongside the glamorous boutiques of some of Italy's greatest designers - Ferragamo, Gucci and Prada. Medieval lanes and alleyways that have barely changed during the last 500 years lead off towards the city's beautiful public buildings, art galleries and palazzos. The timeless River Arno flows close by the hotel and the city's mainline railway station and Piazza Santa Maria Novella is about a ten-minute walk away. It is difficult to imagine a more atmospheric or convenient location for a holiday in Florence (Firenze).

The hotel is housed in a beautiful old palazzo and rooms have wonderful painted ceilings, frescoes and lots of delightful architectural detail. All 28 rooms have private bathrooms, and each one is individually furnished with elegant period furniture and equipped with satellite television, direct-dial telephone, a refrigerated minibar stocked with drinks and snacks and a personal safe for your documents and valuables. Bathrooms are decorated with either marble or Florentine-style ceramic tiles, and have either a shower or bath tub, a built-in hairdryer and a courtesy set of toiletries. Guests are offered a choice of classic, superior and deluxe rooms, and the hotel also has a selection of suites. Breakfast is included in the room rate and this consists of a hot and cold buffet (served on the hotel's panoramic roof garden during the summer season).

Hotel Beacci Tornabuoni has a restaurant offering a rich and varied menu of local and international delicacies; there is also a lounge/bar with an extensive drinks list, plus a selection of comfortable and elegant sitting rooms furnished with authentic Florentine antiques: here guests are invited to relax over a drink or coffee. There are two meeting rooms accommodating up to 40 people, and the hotel has a limited amount of parking reserved in a nearby garage. There is 24-hour service on the front desk, where guests will also find an internet point, tourist information, opportunities for guided tours and excursions and a dry cleaning and laundry service.
