The Hotel Toscana Verde ('Green Tuscany') is aptly named. Close to the towns of Penna and Laterina, and just west of Arezzo, the building stands in the midst of 35 square kilometres of verdant parkland, and was originally a tobacco factory, dedicated to the manufacture of the famous 'Toscana' cigars. Today, it's charming country accommodation within a protected nature reserve.
