This charming three-star hotel in Campania is set in a beautiful Liberty style building in the historic centre of Sant'Agnello - a quiet resort which lies around ten minutes away from the centre of Sorrento. Hotel Villa Margherita stands on a handsome street lined with elegant villas dating from the 1880s in an area that was once popular with the artists and poets who flocked to Sorrento for its lovely mild climate, atmospheric coastline and the friendliness of the locals. There are 24 light-filled rooms, all with high ceilings and pretty period details, some with a delightful balcony offering views out to sea. Each of the rooms has been individually decorated and furnished in typical Mediterranean style with wrought-iron bedsteads and ceramic tiles of white and blue echoing the colours of the beach.
