The Villa San Filippo is a hotel offering self-catering apartment accommodation. There are 21 tastefully furnished suites and apartments, which can accommodate between two and six guests. What was once an orangery for the original country mansion is now a first-class restaurant overlooking the charming Italian garden, serving genuine traditional Tuscan dishes which guests are invited to wash down with a bottle of the region's best Chianti. Lighter snacks and drinks are also served on the terrace with its panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. There is also a "Cantinetta" which originally housed the giant millstones of the presses which were used to produce the region's premier extra-virgin olive oil in former days, and guests can sample and buy locally produced wine, olive oil and home-made conserves.

Every room has a glorious view and amenities include en-suite bathroom with bathrobe and a range of toiletries, tea/coffee maker, direct-dial telephone, direct modem link, cable/satellite TV, DVD player and a small kitchenette with fridge and microwave. The hotel has a family-friendly approach and children are welcomed with cots and high-chairs as well as a play area in the hotel garden. As well as the attractive outdoor swimming pool, guests are invited to take advantage of the health-suite facilities which include sunbeds and Jacuzzi.
