Veneto's Hotel Villa Soligo is housed in a stunning neo-classical building. Originally designed for the Conti Brandolini d'Adda as a summer hunting lodge, the villa has now been artfully remodelled as a luxurious four-star hotel in Italy. Boasting a fabulous swimming pool and shady tennis courts, this handsome villa provides high standards of service and comfort in a beautiful location - the perfect place to take some gentle exercise or just to relax. The hotel is surrounded by its own lovely gardens and set in the heart of the Veneto region with the city of Treviso just 25km away. This area has long been known as the Valsana, or healthy valley - so named for its mild micro-climate, pure water and verdant, fertile pastures. The hotel makes a very nice country base from which to explore the city of Venice itself.

There are 30 spacious rooms, each individually decorated with taste and charm and with its own private bathroom and beautiful views out over the extensive parkland. Rooms are equipped with direct-dial telephone, am/fm radio and hairdryer. A separate seating area has comfortable chairs and a useful writing desk, plus satellite colour television with optional news and movie channels and a generously stocked minibar. Bathrooms are adapted to accommodate guests with disabilities and a fluffy bathrobe and luxury toiletries are also provided.

The excellent restaurant specialises in typical Treviso and Veneto cooking and there is a wonderful, elegant bar offering a wide range of aperitifs and delicious house cocktails. The hotel's well-equipped meeting room can accommodate up to 80 people and the hotel also has a modern fully equipped gymnasium where guests can join aerobics classes. Children are made to feel welcome with some very nice activity areas both indoors and out; there is also a miniclub.
