All the amenities of northeastern Italy's most popular holiday resort are at hand, from fashionable boutiques and excellent restaurants to friendly bars, cosy pizzerias and fast-food joints as well as a wide choice of nightlife. Lido di Jesolo is known for its lovely, sandy beaches sloping gently into an unpolluted sea. The beach here stretches for over ten miles (15 kilometres) and there is a wide array of watersports and outdoor activities on offer. Particuarly popular with families is the Aqualandia waterpark with is slides and waterchutes, and the legendary city of Venice, of course, is less than an hour away via a scenic boat trip across the lagoon.
