The Hotel Vime Senbhotel, Senigallia, is located in an ideal resort for a family holiday, famous for its superb Velvet beach and the elegant architectural sites of its historic centre. In the town centre there is a picturesque neoclassical marketplace called Foro Annonario, which is overlooked by the Rocca Roveresca. This thirteenth century castle has an impressive Renaissance hall, well-preserved fireplaces and spiral staircases. But beneath the grandeur is a sinister underground labyrinth of vaulted rooms as well as dungeons; these have minute air-holes that were designed to suffocate their prisoners. Once you have seen enough of this gloomy underworld, you can scale its towers, which were once look-outs for spotting bandits approaching from Turkey.

This Senigallia hotel is modern and airy, with spectacular views across the Adriatic coast and the beach just metres away.
