Hotel Vittoria is a pleasant, modern family-run hotel set on a quiet road close to the Porto Antico area on the western edge of Genoa. Just a few minutes' walk away is the famous Genoa Aquariam - the largest inland water-centre in Europe with some 600 different species of aquatic life forms. Genoa is the birthplace of Christopher Columbus and it was here, in the 13th-century Palazzo di San Giorgio, that the explorer Marco Polo was imprisoned, during which time he committed his fascinating memoirs to paper.

Hotel Vittoria has 41 bright, spacious and simply furnished rooms including twins, doubles, triples and quadruples. Every room has its own en-suite bath- or shower-room as well as a direct-dial telephone, minibar, colour television and air conditioning.
