Location is one of the key features of this Rimini hotel. As well as being an amble away from the glorious sands of the Adriatic coast (little wonder that many Italian families return to the same spot year in year out), you are close to the main shopping streets of the Marina Centro area. The main congress centre is nearby, and there is much of historic interest to be seen in the town. Rimini was a Roman settlement, and there are remains including the Antifeatro to be enjoyed. This former fishing village reached its height in the Middle Ages, when it was under the despotic and frequently cruel aegis of the Malatesta family. Sigismondo Malatesta built his own personal cathedral in the town (it's still there), an act of arrogance and folly that led to his excommunication as 'the most evil man in Italy'. And there is the beautiful Romagna countryside to be explored around the town.
