This handsome four-star boutique-style hotel is centrally located in Genoa's most fashionable downtown area, opposite the magnificent cathedral. Opened in 2001, this beautifully designed hotel is set inside a delightful seventeenth-century building and incorporates a fusion of 21st-century minimalist design and handsome historic detail. The remains of a medieval loggia on the hotel's facade overlooks the Piazza Duomo, while the eighteenth-century main building features magnificent stucco decorations. All the city's major sights, including the old port and the modern aquarium are within easy walking distance of the hotel doors.

There are ten generously proportioned guest rooms at the Locanda di Palazzo Cicala, Genoa, ranging in size from 30 to 40 square metres, each one comfortably air conditioned and furnished with flair and style.
