The Novo Hotel Impero is housed in a gorgeous neoclassical building very close to Trieste's main railway station. Trieste is a charming city tucked away on Italy's northeastern Adriatic coast. Streets lined with imposing nineteenth century architecture bear witness to its former importance as a major port of the Habsburg Empire.

Tastefully furnished with original 19th-century furniture and decorated with carefully chosen pieces of contemporary art, the hotel has a refined, intimate atmosphere. There are 50 elegant rooms, all with their own bath or shower room, satellite television and direct telephone line. Wake-up calls can be arranged if required and a sumptuous continental breakfast can be taken either in your room or in the peaceful breakfast area along with your fellow guests. Under-sevens stay free of charge in their parents' room and small pets are allowed in the hotel by prior arrangement with the management. All rooms are accessible by lift.
