Como is traditionally a centre for silk making of course - make sure you check out the city's Silk Museum. Around the hotel you'll find plenty of good pizzerias, coffee bars and restaurants. A great way to discover the area is by bike - ask at reception and the staff will be happy to help organise trips.

The location is great for visitors too, handy for the Como Sud exit from the highway, some 300 metres from the main rail station and 600 metres from Como Nord station, with services to Malpensa Airport and the Milan Trade Fair. Buses also run from Malpensa direct to Como.
