Built in the 18th century as a palazzo, former guests at the Park Hotel Regina, Bagni di Lucca, include composer Giacomo Puccini, who is said to have written much of his last opera Turandot during his stay here. There are just 14 rooms, all with en-suite bathroom with a choice of bath and shower plus a built-in hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, internet connection point, satellite television and minibar.
