The Relais delle Picchiaie is a marvellous place to kick back, relax and soak up the beauty of the island. This is a delightfully isolated position, while being within easy reach of the town. You are 500 metres from the road, in the hotel's own, expansive parklands, which are a riot of colour, with oleander, geraniums and lavender bushes - a peaceful oasis only broken by the song of the birds.

The swimming pools, one with hydromassage facilities, is set amidst palm trees and flowering shrubs. The pool, delightfully lit at night, is flanked by sun loungers with white umbrellas shielding guests from the rays of the sun. The guest rooms, which are both comfortable and give superb views, are kept with meticulous attention. All have air conditioning, direct phone, bathroom with tub, shower and WC, minibar, colour TV.

The hotel has its own fitness centre, with Turkish baths, saunas, sun beds, and ayurvedic massage dispensed by qualified Indian personnel - this has to be the perfect place to recharge batteries depleted from months of hard work and stress.
