Residence Hotel Casamalfi, Amalfi

This pleasant three-star hotel in Amalfi is located right in the historic centre of the resort and a few minutes' walk from the beach and the pier. Piazza del Duomo, with its beautiful cathedral and elegant restaurants, is about 50 metres from the hotel and there are plenty of bars, shops and cafes to choose from in the area. Amalfi is an attractive seaside resort with a long and fascinating history and some dramatic coastal scenery. Nearby are a number of places of interest to visit for a day-trip or excursion, including the ancient Roman ruins of Pompeii and the delightful islands of Capri and Ischia.

There are just four guest rooms at the Residence Hotel Casamalfi, each with the option of self-catering with an adjoining kitchenette, plus a sleeping/sitting area with en-suite bathroom facilities. Guests can choose between two-roomed apartments with separate sitting room or a spacious studio apartment with double divan, and adjoining seating area. The apartments are tastefully furnished and designed to complement the typical local architecture. Rooms are full of light with beautiful parquet floors and Vietresi ceramic tiles in the bathrooms. All rooms are fully air conditioned and equipped with cable/satellite television, a minibar stocked with drinks and snacks and a fitted hairdryer.

The complex has a welcoming bar with an excellent range of drinks. There is also a left-luggage and storage facility on the reception desk. Quiet, well-behaved pets are welcome to join their owners here and cots are available for babies and small children at a nominal charge.
