All of them are attractively furnished in light, bright colours, and have their own spacious balcony with a magnificent view over the lake - the largest and cleanest of all the Italian lakes. There's a choice of apartment sizes - 16 have two rooms, four have three rooms and five are studios - and all offer a wide range of amenities including satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, safe and a good selection of kitchen equipment.

Desenzano del Garda is the largest town on Lake Garda and its lakefront is lined with bustling bars and restaurants specialising in traditional local cuisine. If you prefer to take in the sights, you could head for the castle, which has spectacular views, or the Roman villa on Via Crocifisso, which was once a large, palatial home. The town is a major rail junction, making it an ideal base from which to explore the Lake area by train, bus or ferry.
