The birthplace of famous Latin poet Nicolo d'Arco, Arco, a town near Lake Garda, has been a draw for tourists since the late nineteenth century, as well as a haven for poets, writers and artists.

The hotel's position in the Valtenesi hills gives it commanding views of the lake, while its proximity to the motorway/highway means it's easy to take day excursions to nearby cities, such as Verona and Mantua (Mantova). The double and triple bedrooms have a shower, minibar and television, while the simply decorated apartments, which sleep four to six people, have living rooms and kitchens and some have balconies.

Just outside this resort is Il Vittoriale, the former home of one of Italy's greatest poets, Gabriele D'Annunzio.
