This hotel, laid out over five floors, is built around an outdoor swimming pool with a sun terrace that has loungers and parasols and overlooks the Ligurian Sea. It is located in Portovenere which lies seven kilometres from the port city of La Spezia. The medieval village of Portovenere dates back to Roman times and features a pretty seaside promenade. The highlight of the surrounding area is the World Heritage site, Cinque Terre, which comprises five coastal villages ten kilometres to the north: the villages are easily accessible form La Spezia by either ferry or train. The rugged mountainous scenery of the Apuan Alps lie inland and the city of Pisa, with its iconic leaning tower, is 70 kilometres away.
