Starhotels Cristallo Palace is an impressive, glass-clad four-star hotel located on the ring road in the southern part of Bergamo close to the Porta Nuova and two kilometres from the city centre. Bergamo is a delightful city with two distinct centres: Bergamo Alta, a picturesque medieval citadel clinging to a hillside high above the Lombardy plain and the more modern Bergamo Bassa. There is plenty of culture here, with scores of fascinating medieval streets, lovely Renaissance buildings and one of Italy's premier art galleries (L'Accademia Carrara). The foothills of the majestic Dolomites are not far away and the beautiful lakes of Como and Iseo are just a short drive away.

Each of the 90 soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms is fitted with a luxurious en-suite bathroom as well as satellite TV with movie channel, direct-dial telephone, radio and a generous minibar. Children under 16 are allowed to stay free of charge in their parents' room, cots and cribs are available and the hotel offers a babysitting service.
