The Kennedy Hotel, Rome
Via Filippo Turati 62- 64, RomeThe colourful city of Rome is home to some of the world's most famous attractions: the ancient Colosseum, where gladiator battles drew crowds of over 50,000; the Pantheon, known also as the 'temple of all gods'; Michelangelo's masterpiece on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican City, home to the Pope and centre of the Catholic world. With so many monuments and galleries, it's easy to be overwhelmed, and visitors are advised to take their time and try to soak up the ambience instead of hurrying across the city from one tourist spot to the next. Fortunately, the city is compact enough to allow exploration on foot, though the city's excellent public transport system is very user friendly for the less energetic.
The Kennedy Hotel is a charming three-star hotel close to the ancient central part of Rome. The 53 rooms were all completely renovated in 2002, and are brightly decorated with modern furnishings. Each room of this Rome hotel is provided with air conditioning, hairdryer, in-room safe and satellite TV. They also have pristine en-suite facilities and direct-dial telephone. The hotel boasts three separate reception rooms, with ample space for relaxing on the sofa with a book or meeting up with friends before heading out into the city for dinner or the theatre. The Kennedy is very family friendly, and can provide cots, highchairs and a babysitting service upon request. Guests are also welcome to leave their luggage at reception after checkout on their final day at this hotel in Rome, in order to make the most of their time in the city.
