The Opera Hotel in Rome is housed in an elegant building dating from the 19th century. Here you are close too to some of the major sights of the city. The hotel is close to the Teatro dell'Opera, the Trevi Fountain, the Piazza di Spagna and the Spanish Steps. Head a little way north and you are at the Villa Borghese - its extensive parklands offering a welcome green oasis in the heart of the bustling city. And the sights of Classical Rome are within easy reach. Energetic visitors might wish to explore Rome on foot (the perfect way to see the city) and walk to the awe-inspiring Colosseum, the Foro Romano (Roman Forum) and the Pantheon. Head across the River Tiber and you reach the Vatican (and its museums) and St Peter's Square.
